Role Overview
You will lead, mentor, and optimise a close-knit team, managing critical back-end operations. This team handles the foundational administrative workflow for the commercial business. Because this is a high-performing B2B environment, complaints are rare, allowing you to focus on efficiency, development, and strategic improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Develop: Manage and motivate a team of operational support professionals.
- Streamline Workflows: Oversee the day-to-day management of inbound queries.
- Drive Performance: Monitor and improve team workflows across quotations, pricing, projects, and sales support.
- Data & Analysis: Produce actionable reporting, analyse team metrics, and identify operational bottlenecks.
- Quality Control: Maintain immaculate attention to detail across all commercial documentation and processes.
Highly desirable
- Proven Leadership: Strong people management skills with a passion for coaching and developing staff.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable extracting data, running reports, and turning numbers into insights.
- Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- B2B Familiarity: Experience working in a business-to-business corporate or manufacturing setting is highly advantageous.
