Role Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day warehouse and inventory operations in line with company standards and performance targets.
- Overseeing goods-in, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns processes.
- Ensuring a minimum 98% picking and packing accuracy is consistently achieved.
- Planning and conducting weekly stock counts and reconciling inventory discrepancies.
- Investigating stock variances and maintaining stock loss below 1% of annual cost of sales.
- Designing and improving warehouse layout to maximise space utilisation and efficiency.
- Producing regular operational reports on stock movement, accuracy, and slow-moving inventory.
- Liaising with suppliers and transport providers to ensure smooth and cost-effective logistics operations.
- Maintaining accurate goods-in and goods-out documentation and system records.
Desirable
- Forklift licence.
- Knowledge of warehouse management or inventory systems.
- Previous experience in warehouse or logistics management.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
