We are working with a leading cargo and logistics company in Colnbrook, Berkshire to recruit a Warehouse Operative. This permanent, full-time role has hours from Sunday to Thursday, 08:30 - 17:00 (30-minute lunch) and is perfect for anyone looking to grow their career within warehouse operations. You will be required to drive the company van on occasion, so you will need to hold a full UK licence.
Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative:
- Working as a Warehouse Operative processing inbound shipments and managing stock between two warehouse sheds
- Picking, packing, bagging, and labelling cargo as part of your Warehouse Operative duties
- Driving cargo between warehouses and to airport sheds when required
- Becoming an AVSEC screener with full training
- General warehouse tasks including maintaining a safe, clean working environment
- Handling returns from failed deliveries and ensuring items are correctly processed
- Completing administrative duties and keeping accurate records
- Assisting with forklift operations (training provided)
- Maintaining vehicles and equipment, including monthly inspections
