Job Description
Right Now Group are seeking a highly organised and proactive Transport Planner to manage domestic transport operations, including arranging deliveries and collections, liaising with vendors, and coordinating with hauliers to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods across the UK.
Job Title:Transport Planner (Domestic Movements)Location: Slough Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30-17:30Salary: £33,000-£38,000
Key Responsibilities for a Transport Planner :
- Coordinate and schedule domestic collections and deliveries across multiple sites.
- Liaise daily with hauliers, transport providers, and third-party logistics partners to confirm availability, timings, and any special requirements.
- Communicate effectively with vendors to arrange inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure all transport documentation is accurate and completed on time (e.g. delivery notes, collection schedules, PODs).
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues or delays promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of transport activity and update internal systems accordingly.
- Support the Logistics Manager with any ad-hoc tasks or projects as required

- Previous experience in a logistics, transport, or supply chain coordination role (ideally with domestic movements).
