As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant , you will focus on sourcing temporary workers, including warehouse operatives, forklift drivers, HGV drivers, X-ray screeners, pick and packers, customer service staff, and other skilled roles.
You will recruit for a wide range of industries across the UK, with placements in and around airports.
This role also offers the opportunity to develop your skills in business development and client relationship building, laying the foundation for a successful career in recruitment and sales.
Key Responsibilities of a Trainee Recruitment Consultant
- Communicate regularly with candidates to discuss and match them to job opportunities.
- Source and review candidate CVs from job boards (e. g., Reed, Indeed).
- Update candidate information in our in-house CRM system.
- Arrange interviews and meetings with candidates (both in-person and via Teams/Zoom).
- Ensure all compliance documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Post job ads across various platforms (Broadbean, Linked In, etc.).
- Work towards meeting weekly and monthly KPIs and targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure an outstanding candidate experience.
- Learn to generate new business and build strong, lasting relationships with clients.
- Take on additional sales responsibilities as you grow within the role.
- Manage placements for roles in industries such as logistics, customer service, and airport operations.
