Our client is looking for a Trainee Freight Administrator to join one of the biggest global freight forwarders, who specialise in Live Events and Broadcasting. This role would be ideal for someone that has a minimum of 1 year's experience within an Office Administration role.
Duties and responsibilities of a Trainee Freight Administrator:
- Accurately completing carnet applications including logging, returning, tracking claims
- Supporting clients on carnet regulations and requirements
- Following existing processes to maintain accurate records, keeping carnet logs up to date
- Working with the Air Export team to handle all aspects of exports including customs entries
- Arranging collections with agreed suppliers
- Liaising with airlines, carriers, handling agents and customers daily
The successful candidate:
- Minimum of 1 years experience working in an office environment
- Will have a clear 5 year checkable employment and education history
- A clean DBS
- Aptitude to learn and grow within an organisation
- Good IT skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Salary - £25,000
- Hours of work - Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30
- Location - Hayes accessible by car or public transport
- Freight experience is not required for this role as training will be provided for the successful candidate.
