Are you an enthusiastic Specifications Manager passionate about building long term relationships with Architects and Designers? Ideally, you would have a proven track record in B2B Specifications Sales within the London area. An established architect portfolio/network within the Bathroom/Kitchen solutions sector or similar sector would be highly advantageous.

Please Note: A company car would be provided. This role is a field-based position in the London region covering areas predominantly inside the M25. Living in an easily commutable area to London is essential for this role.

Salary: Competitive + bonus + company car - will be fully disclosed before interview.

Role Type: Full-Time Permanent

Location: Field Based/Remote - London - inside the M25

Role Overview: As a Specification Sales Manager focusing on our clients' high-end product range, tasked with engaging Architects and Interior designers, generating new and repeat business and forging long term relationships.

  • Build strong relationships with Architects and Interior designers, securing project specifications.
  • Convert specifications into live orders in line with our sales objectives.
  • Attend industry events and conduct visits with Interior designers and Architects.
  • Administer activity via the system ensuring all activity is reported in a timely manner.
  • Offer technical support and onsite training on Projects you have specified.
  • Work in cohesion with the existing specifications and business development team.
  • Achieve and exceed the agreed area sales targets.
  • Utilise data sources and contracts to generate leads and to target new business.
  • Work closely with the Business Support and Projects team to ensure you maximise the potential in the area.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in B2B Specification Sales role, ideally within Kitchens and Bathrooms.
  • Mechanical or Specifications related background.
  • Proven ability in converting specifications.
  • Existing relationships with Architects and Interior designers in the London region.
  • Ability to work independently and plan your own diary.
