Right Now Group are recruiting for a proactive and organised HR & Operations Administrator to join a busy operation based in Slough. This is an immediate requirement, and candidates who are available to start immediately or at short notice would be particularly welcomed. This is a varied position combining HR administration, operational support and compliance, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys having a broad workload and working closely with different departments across a business.

You’ll provide day-to-day support to managers and employees, assisting with everything from onboarding, employee records and absence administration through to operational reporting, stock control, supplier coordination and audit preparation. We’re looking for someone who is confident, approachable and comfortable taking ownership of their workload. You’ll regularly work with managers across the operation, chasing outstanding information, maintaining accurate records and helping ensure HR, operational and compliance requirements are completed on time. Due to the diverse workforce within the operation, the ability to speak Polish or Punjabi would be a significant advantage, although this is not essential.

Key Responsibilities of an HR & Operations Administrator

  • Support the day-to-day administration of both the HR and Operations functions
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new employees, including preparing contracts, offer letters and associated documentation
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • Monitor and record employee holidays, attendance and absence
  • Support managers with general HR administration and employee-related queries
  • Track mandatory employee training and compliance requirements
  • Assist with HR documentation and preparation for internal and external audits
  • Provide administrative support to the Operations Manager and wider management team
  • Prepare operational reports, KPI information and management documentation
  • Coordinate weekly and monthly stock takes and maintain accurate records
  • Liaise with suppliers and assist with purchase orders, invoices and general queries
  • Work closely with Production teams regarding deliveries, despatches and operational requirements
  • Support operational projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Maintain accurate compliance and audit documentation
  • Track outstanding audit actions and follow up with managers to ensure completion
  • Assist with maintaining records relating to CAA and aviation compliance requirements
  • Ensure company documentation and records remain organised, accurate and readily available
  • Provide additional administrative support across the business when required

Skills & Experience Required for an HR & Operations Administrator

  • Previous experience within HR Administration, Operations Administration, Office Administration or a similar role
  • Available immediately or at short notice would be highly advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communicating with employees and managers at all levels
  • Proactive approach with the confidence to chase outstanding actions and information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Professional and trustworthy when handling confidential employee information
  • Comfortable working within a busy, fast-paced operational environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience supporting audits or compliance administration would be advantageous
  • Previous experience within aviation, logistics, production, laundry or another regulated environment would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of CAA compliance or aviation regulations would be highly advantageous
  • CIPD qualification or currently working towards CIPD would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Experience using HR or workforce management systems would be advantageous
  • Polish or Punjabi language skills would be a significant advantage but are not essential

Salary & Benefits for an HR & Operations Administrator

  • Salary between £28,000 - £32,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday working pattern
  • Working hours of 09:00 - 17:00
  • Immediate / ASAP start preferred
