Our industry leading client is seeking a personable and dynamic HR Advisor eager to become a key part of their established and multifaceted UK HR Team. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in generalist HR practices, a good understanding of employee relations, and a willingness to perform general administrative tasks.

Position: Full-Time Permanent - 37 hours per week

Salary: 33k to 38k + Bonus

Location: Sheffield (Office based)

Please note that occasional travel will be required.

  • Support and manage HR projects, focusing on process improvement and key development areas.
  • Automate and develop new and existing HR processes, with a key focus on employee engagement.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding from start to induction, providing an overview of the company's mission, vision, and policies.
  • Work in partnership with preferred agencies to attract and retain the best talent, coordinating interviews, drafting job descriptions and managing offer stages.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Coach and support managers on a wide range of employee relations matters.
  • Utilise HRIS software to manage employee data and streamline HR processes, including document storage.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of apprenticeship programmes and management of the apprenticeship levy.
  • Facilitate training sessions and development programmes to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Provide general administrative HR support and further support to the wider HR team.

Proven experience in HR advisory roles within an Engineering/Supply Chain & Logistics or Manufacturing environment.

Strong generalist HR knowledge and excellent communication skills.

Experience in providing HR support to Blue Collar workers.
