A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Export Coordinator to join a growing and fast-paced logistics business based in Feltham. This hands-on role is primarily focused on managing export shipments from start to finish across air, sea and road freight. The successful Export Coordinator will play a key role within the team, supporting daily operations, ensuring shipments are managed efficiently and providing additional support across warehouse activities when required.
The location offers excellent access to public transport and provides a supportive working environment with flexibility when needed.
Duties and Responsibilities of an Export Coordinator:
- Manage export shipments from start to finish across air freight
- Prepare customer quotations and process invoicing accurately
- Maintain and update basic Excel spreadsheets and shipment records
- Coordinate shipments that require a high level of attention to detail
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and freight partners to ensure smooth operations
- Support pick and pack activities when required
- Assist with general warehouse duties during busy periods or staff absence
- Oversee and manage workloads in the manager's absence
- Provide support across all areas of the business as required
The Successful Candidate:
- Previous experience working as an Export Coordinator, Export Operator or Freight Forwarder
- Strong export experience is essential
- Knowledge of imports would be advantageous but is not essential
- Experience handling air, sea and road freight shipments
- Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Competent with Microsoft Excel and general administration tasks
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to support warehouse operations when required
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workloads effectively
