We are working with an ambitious Freight Forwarder in the Heathrow area that is looking to take on a trainee export clerk due to growth. Our client is a dynamic Freight Forwarder that is looking to find the next export superstar! You will have full training provided 1 to 1 by the current Export Manager and you will become a full 360 Air Export Operator. This is the perfect opportunity for an administrator to get into the big world of freight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling all aspects of Air Exports including customs entries
- Arranging collections with agreed hauliers
- Engaging with the warehouse to check if shipments have arrived and if they have been screened
- Liaising with airlines, carriers, handling agents & customers daily
- Liaising with overseas agents
Desirable:
- Have an interest in working within Freight Forwarding
- Excellent communication and customer service skills - you will be required to communicate with clients and suppliers over email and telephone
- Display a hungry and flexible attitude
- Motivated to learn and develop
- Quick problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail
