Right now Group are seeking a Senior Road Import Operator to join our friendly and dynamic team in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Road Freight operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of shipments from start to finish.
Job Title: Road Import Operator
Location: Slough
Salary: £35,000-£40,000Monday-Friday: 08:30-17:30
Key Duties for a Road Import Operator:
- Handle import and export shipments across for road freight and occasionally air, and sea.
- Plan and manage the end-to-end process, including collections, bookings, documentation, and billing.
- Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues quickly.
- Oversee customs clearance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor shipments, ensuring deadlines and service levels are met.
- Deliver excellent customer service by keeping clients informed and supported throughout the process.
