Right Now Group are currently partnered with an International Engineering client and industry leader who are recruiting for an NPI Test Engineer to support with testing, design, product approval and validation.
Ideally you would have come from an Engineering background within mechanics or electronics and have a genuine interest in testing, compliance and regulations. Full training will be provided and some travel will be required in order to visit the main production facility in the UK.
- Design and test equipment to support product testing and validation.
- Execute laboratory testing for components, assemblies, and finished products.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects through verification and validation activities.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret test data using appropriate statistical and engineering methods.
- Support root cause investigations and failure analysis activities.
- Assist in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Design for Reliability (DfR) activities.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with health, safety, and laboratory procedures.
- Support continuous improvement of laboratory processes and testing methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
Previous experience in an Engineering/Assembly or Technician role is required, along with mechanical knowledge, previous experience in maintenance or some form of mechanics/engineering. An Engineering related Degree, A level, NVQ or equivalent is also necessary. Good systems skills, ideally Excel related, are expected.
