Right Now Group are currently recruiting for a Goods In Operative on behalf of one of our well-established logistics clients based in Colnbrook.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional to join a fast-paced operation handling high-value products.
We're looking for someone with previous Goods In experience who is confident using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining accurate stock control.
Responsibilities of a Goods In Operative Safely receive and unload inbound deliveries.
Inspect incoming goods to ensure quantities, product quality and documentation are accurate.
Accurately book stock into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Verify product information, serial numbers, quantities and supporting documentation.
Ensure HS (Harmonised System) Codes are correctly recorded where required.
Allocate stock to the correct warehouse locations.
Put stock away safely and accurately following warehouse procedures.
Locate stock efficiently for internal departments and outbound orders.
Maintain accurate inventory records and investigate any stock discrepancies.
Handle high-value products with care while following all security procedures.
Record product dimensions (DIMS), weights and storage information accurately.
Work closely with Warehouse, Inventory and Operations teams to ensure stock availability.
Support stock counts and inventory audits.
Follow all Health Safety procedures and company policie
Hours: Monday to Friday | Rotating shifts: 09:00-18:00 10:00-19:00 Salary: £29,000 The successful candidate will have: Previous experience within a Goods In, Warehouse Operative or Stock Control role.
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
Experience handling high-value products with a high level of accuracy.
Confident booking in deliveries and maintaining accurate stock records.
Experience allocating and locating stock within warehouse location systems.
Knowledge of product dimensions (DIMS) and accurate data entry.
Understanding of HS (Harmonised System) Codes and associated documentation.
Good numerical skills and excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable working under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy.
Strong communication and team-working skills.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
