Right Now Group are recruiting for a large cargo ground handler at Heathrow! We are looking for a Forklift Driver with experience operating a counterbalance Forklift. You will be joining our client, a prestigious Ground Handler, within their dynamic and busy warehouse environment alongside the clients airline partners, ensuring their cargo is delivered safely and securely around the world!
Location: Heathrow
Hours: You will be required to work a shift pattern consisting of days and nights. This will be a mixture of days and nights in the following format: 4 ON 4 OFF - 2 Days 06:30 - 18:30 / 2 Nights 18:30 - 06:30
Salary: £32,000 - £33,000
Responsibilities of a Forklift Driver:
- You will be required to assist with loading and unloading vehicles carrying a variety of cargo using a forklift truck and other mechanical equipment, as well as performing some manual handling.
- You will be expected to use hand-held devices to locate and identify cargo.
- Process paperwork in accordance with our clients requirements.
- Helping with breaking & building ULD's such as PAG's, PMC's and AKE's.
- For any cargo coming into the facility, you will be required when unloading, to check for any discrepancies, damage or any areas of concern.
