With a location near London Heathrow, they efficiently manage import and export requirements via Air, Road, and Sea. Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Ocean Import Operator to join their close-knit team of four. This full-time, on-site role will focus primarily on sea freight operations with additional involvement in air freight shipments.

Salary: £32,000-£35,000

Hours: Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate import shipments via sea and air freight, ensuring the timely and compliant movement of goods.
  • Manage end-to-end shipment processes, from quotation through to final delivery and invoicing.
  • Use internal systems to complete shipment documentation and operational processes.
  • Provide accurate quotations to customers within agreed timeframes and service level expectations.
  • Liaise with approved third-party suppliers, carriers, and overseas agents to arrange the transportation of goods.
