Job Description
Right Now Group are recruiting for a Customer Service Agent to join the Export team of a leading Neutral Freight Forwarder at their Manchester branch.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing airfreight export team, whether you're already experienced in freight forwarding or looking to take your first steps into the logistics industry.
You'll be involved in coordinating export shipments from start to finish, working with airlines, agents, and transport providers to ensure smooth and compliant operations. Full training will be provided for trainee-level candidates, with excellent development opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities β Customer Service Agent

Handling customer and supplier calls relating to export shipments

Making air export bookings with airlines and handling agents

Preparing and processing Master and House Airway Bills

Supporting the export documentation process

Coordinating collections and ensuring timely export departures

Liaising with third-party partners such as hauliers, warehouses, and carriers

Assisting with job costing and data entry

Learning how to process customs entries (training provided if required)

Delivering excellent customer service throughout the shipment cycle
