Hours: Monday to Friday β 6:30/7:00am Start β 8 Hour Shift
Location: Greenwich
Role Responsibilities Materials Tech/Site engineer:
- Routine inspections, sampling and testing Aggregate/recycled and Earthworks materials, Concrete and Asphalt
- Leading the production of compressive strength specimens
- Taking part in research and development projects Particle size and density testing
- Physical material trials, reporting findings and specific progress
Desirable:
- Experience working within a test lab within construction i.e CET, Socotec, ESG etc.
- Experience as a construction materials technician, laboratory technician or site engineer within construction.
- Knowledge of granular materials sampling, particle size distribution testing and strength testing would be beneficial.
- Desire to learn and develop within this role, attitude is crucial
