Job Description
Right Now Group are currently supporting a well-established freight forwarding company who are looking for an Air Export Coordinator to join their busy and growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious freight forwarding professional to develop their career in a dynamic and supportive environment, working across both import and export operations.
Key Responsibilities of an Air Export Coordinator:

Coordinate and manage the full cycle of export and import shipments across air and some sea freight.

Complete MAWB & HAWBs and handle all documentation for customs clearance and compliance.

Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers, ensuring competitive prices and reliable service.

Provide accurate quotations and organise collections/deliveries.

Liaise with clients, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure timely shipment progress.

Create and maintain job files on internal systems with accuracy.

Send proofs of exports/imports to clients and keep them updated on shipment progress.

Support import processes and provide admin assistance across the team when required.

Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth day-to-day performance.
Experience/Skills Required for an Air Export Coordinator:

Minimum 2 years' experience in multimodal freight forwarding (air & sea), handling both exports and imports.

Strong knowledge of customs procedures and international shipping regulations.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships.

Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.

Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.

Knowledge of ASM Sequoia and CDS systems is desirable.

Operational and sales (business development) experience is advantageous.
