Right Now Group are working with a leading global freight forwarding business specialising in time-critical aerospace logistics to recruit an experienced Aerospace Operations Coordinator for their night shift team based in Colnbrook.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist operation supporting the aviation industry, where you'll be responsible for managing urgent Aircraft on Ground (AOG) shipments and ensuring critical aircraft parts are delivered around the globe without delay.

Aerospace Operations Coordinator - Responsibilities As an Aerospace Operations Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to aerospace customers by managing urgent import and export shipments from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include: Managing end-to-end Air Freight import and export shipments, with a primary focus on exports.

Coordinating urgent Aircraft on Ground (AOG) movements within strict customer deadlines.

Liaising with airlines, hauliers, overseas agents, customs authorities and customers.

Providing regular shipment updates and maintaining exceptional customer service.

Responding quickly and professionally to urgent operational enquiries and customer emails.

Monitoring shipments to ensure service levels are achieved.

Working closely with internal teams to deliver time-critical logistics solutions.

Supporting customs processes where required.

Aerospace Operations Coordinator - Requirements We're looking for candidates with experience within Freight Forwarding who can demonstrate: Previous experience managing end-to-end Air Freight operations.

Strong knowledge of export operations (import experience is also desirable).

Experience handling Aircraft on Ground (AOG) shipments and understanding the demands of time-critical logistics.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

The ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple priorities.

A proactive approach with excellent organisational skills.

Experience liaising with customers, airlines and overseas partners.

Customs entry experience would be advantageous but isn't essential, as training can be provided to candidates with solid freight forwarding knowledge.
