Right Now Group are currently recruiting for reliable, hardworking, and motivated Warehouse Operatives to join our busy client in Sunbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for ongoing temporary work within a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play an important role in ensuring packages and shipments are handled, sorted and processed efficiently. You will be working as part of a team, supporting the smooth running of daily warehouse operations and helping to ensure goods are processed accurately and on time.
We are looking for candidates who are reliable, physically fit, have a strong work ethic and are comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.
Duties of a Warehouse Operative
- Loading goods onto conveyor belts safely and efficiently.
- Unloading vehicles and handling packages in line with company procedures.
- Scanning and processing shipments accurately using warehouse scanning systems.
- Labelling packages correctly to ensure goods are processed and dispatched to the correct destination.
- Completing data entry and updating warehouse systems where required.
- Sorting packages according to destination, shipment type and operational requirements.
- Directing and distributing packages through the warehouse chute system to ensure they reach the correct location.
- Monitoring the movement of packages through the chute system and ensuring goods are correctly distributed.
- Supporting the wider warehouse team to maintain an efficient flow of goods throughout the operation.
- Working towards daily operational targets while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
- Following all company health and safety procedures and reporting any potential hazards.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
- Carrying out any additional general warehouse duties as required by the operational team.
Shift:
Monday to Friday and Sunday
- Minimum of 1 shifts per week
- Maximum of 6 shifts per week
Hours:
- 07:00 - 19:00 (cargo trained)
- 19:00 - 07:00

Pay Rate:
£15.50
Skills & Requirements of a Warehouse Operative:
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, as full training may be provided.
- A reliable and hardworking attitude with a strong commitment to attendance.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to handle packages accurately.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A good level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a busy warehouse environment.
- The ability to follow instructions and adhere to company procedures.
- Flexibility to work the required shift patterns, including weekends.
- A proactive approach to work and a willingness to support colleagues.
- 5 year checkable history
- Clear and valid DBS
- Cargo Operative training
