Pricing Specialist

Right Now Group are partnering with a well-established and growing Freight Forwarder based in

Sunbury-on-Thames , who are seeking an experienced

Pricing Specialist to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with

2+ years of freight forwarding experience , ideally with a background in pricing, quotations or freight operations, looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update internal pricing databases with current rates, tariffs and relevant supplier information.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and costing for

AIR, ROAD and SEA freight services .

  • Source competitive rates from airlines, carriers, handling agents and overseas partners.
  • Liaise daily with airlines, carriers, handling agents, overseas partners and customers to obtain rates and resolve pricing queries.
  • Prepare, organise and maintain accurate documentation relating to pricing and quotations.
  • Support the coordination and booking of shipments with airlines and other service providers.
  • Review customer requirements and identify appropriate freight solutions and pricing options.
  • Monitor supplier rates and market changes to ensure pricing remains competitive and commercially viable.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure quoted services, costs and margins are accurately reflected.
  • Assist with the imports process , gaining further exposure across key operational functions.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum

2 years' freight forwarding experience , ideally within pricing, quotations or freight operations.

  • Strong understanding of

AIR, ROAD and/or SEA freight .

  • Previous experience preparing freight quotations and costing shipments.
  • Confident communicating with customers, suppliers, airlines, carriers and overseas partners.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple quotations and deadlines.
  • Proactive and commercially minded approach.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Genuine interest in developing a long-term career within freight forwarding.
