Shipping Administrator
Right Now Group are recruiting for a Shipping Administrator to join a leading aviation logistics operation based in Hayes.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with a background in shipping, export or customer service to join a busy aviation environment supporting the distribution and export of aircraft spares worldwide.
Working as part of a 24/7 operation, you'll be responsible for preparing shipping documentation, monitoring operational systems and ensuring shipments are processed accurately and within customer KPIs.
Key Responsibilities of a Shipping Administrator
- Prepare shipping documentation for the distribution and export of aircraft spares worldwide.
- Process shipments in line with customer KPIs and required deadlines.
- Update and operate various operational systems and shipping databases.
- Monitor emails and operational dashboards, ensuring enquiries are answered promptly and AOG shipments are not at risk of being processed late.
- Liaise with supervisors, warehouse teams and collecting agents to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
- Assist the warehouse with data uploads and provide general administrative support to the wider operation.
- The Successful Candidate
- Previous experience within Export OR Customer Service would be advantageous.
- Ideally 2 years' experience within Export OR Customer Service.
- Strong PC skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately to strict deadlines and customer KPIs.
- Proactive approach with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience using logistics or operational systems would be advantageous.
- An interest in aviation, aircraft spares or logistics would be beneficial.
