Nights CCTV Operator - Feltham
Right Now Group are recruiting for a Nights CCTV Operator on behalf of a leading secure logistics business based in Feltham.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected organisation responsible for protecting high-value assets across multiple secure locations.
Working within a central control room, you will be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems throughout the night, identifying suspicious activity, overseeing site security and ensuring all security procedures are followed. The role will also involve access control, maintaining accurate records, processing documentation and supporting the smooth running of secure operations.
Previous security or CCTV experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate. We are looking for someone reliable, professional and observant, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain focused throughout night shifts.
Key Responsibilities of a Nights CCTV Operator
- Monitor CCTV systems across multiple secure sites, identifying and responding to unusual or suspicious activity.
- Carry out regular surveillance checks to ensure security systems remain operational and any issues are reported promptly.
- Monitor site perimeters and escalate potential security breaches or concerns to the appropriate teams.
- Control access to secure facilities, ensuring only authorised personnel are permitted entry.
- Open and secure high-security vaults in accordance with strict operational procedures.
- Scan, process and verify operational documentation accurately.
- Securely dispose of confidential documentation in line with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate CCTV monitoring records, incident logs, access records and operational reports.
- Liaise with site teams and escalate security or operational issues when required.
- Follow all company security, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection procedures.
Skills & Experience Required for a Nights CCTV Operator
- Previous experience in CCTV monitoring, security, control room operations, gatehouse security or a similar role would be advantageous.
- Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Excellent attention to detail, observation skills and the ability to identify unusual activity.
- A calm and professional approach when dealing with incidents or working under pressure.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Comfortable working independently and remaining focused throughout night shifts.
- Trustworthy, reliable and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Basic IT skills and confidence using computer systems.

Security Requirements for a Nights CCTV Operator
Due to the secure nature of the role, the successful candidate must be able to pass the following checks:

- Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off.
