Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am-6.00pm

Lunch: 1 Hour (Unpaid)

Contract: 40 Hours

The role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Accuracy Checking Technician to join our team in Dollar. You will play an important part in delivering safe, efficient and compassionate pharmacy care to our local community. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in accuracy and stays focused in a busy environment. You will be supported by an experienced pharmacy team and given the opportunity to build your skills, whether you are already qualified or starting your pharmacy career.

What you will be doing:

  • Preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately.
  • Conduct the definitive check on prescriptions that have already received a clinical review by the pharmacist.
  • Supporting patients at the counter in a professional and approachable manner.
  • Assisting and overseeing ordering and managing stock.
  • Counsel patients on dosage, safe usage, and potential side effects of their medication.
  • Working closely with the Pharmacist and wider pharmacy team.
  • Log and review near-miss dispensing errors to continuously improve pharmacy safety protocol.
