Pharmacy Assistant Right Medicine Pharmacy, Carronshore
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm
Lunch: 1 hour unpaid break
Contract: 40 hours per week
The role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Carronshore. You will be the first point of contact for patients and customers, setting the tone for their experience in the pharmacy every day. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm in a busy environment and is keen to learn. No two days are the same and you will be fully supported by an experienced pharmacy team.
What you will be doing:
- Welcoming patients and customers and offering help in a warm, professional way
- Supporting the pharmacy team including Dispensers, Technicians and the Pharmacist
- Promoting pharmacy services and advising on over the counter medicines
- Receiving and handing out prescriptions under the guidance of the Pharmacist
- Keeping the pharmacy organised and running smoothly
- Completing essential day to day pharmacy tasks
About you:
- Friendly, approachable and confident speaking with the public
- Organised, dependable and comfortable working at pace
- Interested in healthcare and community focused work
- Pharmacy experience is helpful but not essential, full training will be provided
- Willing to complete required training programmes, some of which may take place outside normal working hours
