Right Medicine Pharmacy, Forth Valley Area
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 6.00pm
Lunch: 1 hour unpaid break
Contract: 40 hours per week
The role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable Pharmacy Assistant or dispenser to join our team on relief working across our 8 Pharmacies in the area. You will be the first point of contact for patients and customers, setting the tone for their experience in the pharmacy every day. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm in a busy environment and is keen to learn. No two days are the same and you will be fully supported by an experienced pharmacy team.
What You Will Be Doing
- Welcoming patients and customers and offering help in a warm, professional way
- Supporting the pharmacy team including Dispensers, Technicians and the Pharmacist
- Promoting pharmacy services and advising on over the counter medicines
- Receiving and handing out prescriptions under the guidance of the Pharmacist
- Keeping the pharmacy organised and running smoothly
- Completing essential day-to-day pharmacy tasks
About You
- Friendly, approachable and confident speaking with the public
- Organised, dependable and comfortable working at pace
- Interested in healthcare and community focused work
- Pharmacy experience is helpful but not essential, full training will be provided
- Willing to complete required training programmes, some of which may take place outside normal working hours
