The Role: You will be responsible for programming and setting parts on CNC turning centres and horizontal machining centres. You should be confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings, with a strong understanding of fixture design and workholding to ensure jobs are operator-friendly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Turner, ideally time-served
- Fully conversant with CNC turning centres and horizontal machining centres
- Strong knowledge of materials, tooling, cutting speeds, and feeds
- Ability to work efficiently to close tolerances
- High standard of quality and attention to detail
This is a hands-on role within a team where flexibility and a proactive approach are highly valued. The position is available for an immediate start, but the company is willing to wait for the right candidate to serve their notice.
