Right Match Recruitment Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing organisation in Dartford that is expanding its production team and seeking experienced Fabricators and Assembly Operators. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous experience in assembly, mechanical build or fabrication who are looking for a long-term career opportunity within a successful and growing manufacturing environment.

The Role

  • Working as part of the production team, you will be responsible for assembling and building products to a high standard, following detailed instructions, technical drawings and quality procedures.
  • Your duties will include:
    • Carrying out mechanical assembly and product build.
    • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams and work instructions.
    • Using hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
    • Ensuring all products meet required quality standards.
    • Identifying and reporting any issues relating to quality, materials or processes.
    • Working closely with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.
    • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
    • Following company procedures and Health & Safety guidelines.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing, assembly, engineering or fabrication environment.
  • Ability to follow technical drawings and detailed assembly instructions.
  • Good attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Experience working to production deadlines and targets.
  • Reliable, hardworking and committed to maintaining high standards.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach with the willingness to support different areas of production.

Job Details & Benefits

  • Pay rates: £13.10 per hour - Morning Shift, £14.43 per hour - Afternoon Shift, £16.43 per hour - Night Shift
  • Shifts available: Morning, Afternoon and Night shifts.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday
    • Morning Shift: 06:00 - 14:00
    • Afternoon Shift: 14:00 - 22:00
    • Night Shift: 22:00 - 06:00
  • Temp to Perm opportunity.
  • 24 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with service).
  • Excellent opportunity for long-term progression.
