The Role

Working as part of a busy accountancy practice, you will provide administrative support to the leadership team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering and directing incoming telephone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Managing a busy shared inbox, responding to and processing in excess of 100 emails per day.
  • Producing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets using simple formulas.
  • Providing administrative support to a leadership team of approximately five people.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and documentation.
  • Learning and using Sage and other internal systems (full training provided).
  • Assisting with general office administration and ad hoc duties as required.
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous administration or office-based experience.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience using simple Excel formulas.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • A professional telephone manner and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
