The Opportunity: Legal Trainer (Maternity Cover)
We’re looking for a Legal Trainer to join us on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. In this role, you’ll support the development of our Legal Advisors by delivering high-quality training programmes that enhance legal knowledge, client service, and compliance. You’ll play a key role in onboarding new starters, supporting ongoing development, and maintaining excellence across our legal teams.

🔑 What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Deliver induction training for new Legal Advisors, covering legal frameworks, systems, and service standards.
- Facilitate refresher sessions and targeted development workshops across branches.
- Create and update training materials, including handbooks, presentations, and e-learning content.
- Provide 1:1 coaching and mentoring to support individual growth and performance.
- Collaborate with the people team and Compliance to ensure training aligns with regulatory and internal standards.
Legal & Compliance
- Ensure training reflects current legislation and SRA regulations, particularly in Wills, Trusts, and Powers of Attorney.
- Support quality assurance by reviewing casework and identifying training needs.
- Act as a subject matter expert, offering guidance and support to Legal Advisors and managers.
- Monitor training outcomes and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Culture
- Partner with Branch Managers and the Legal Team to identify development priorities.
- Champion a culture of learning, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to internal communications and knowledge sharing across the business.
- Support onboarding and ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
