Our Client Services department is the heart of everything we do; they are Partnership Navigators, Experience Creators and Sport Marketing Experts. As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a central role advising and managing a multi-national client and their partnership with a leading Formula 1 team, supporting them with high profile activations and events across the globe. You will be the day-to-day contact for the client and cross-agency team ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
This role requires someone who has in-depth Formula 1 knowledge, with best-in-class client servicing abilities and excellent project management skills. The position is based at Right Formula’s offices in Battersea, London with some international travel to events.
What you will be doing
- Day-to-day management of your client’s partnership objectives and main point of liaison with clients and rights holders.
- Driving forward the strategic development, implementation and execution of best-in-class global activations across multiple markets.
- Building strong relationships with your clients, liaising with them on a day-to-day basis, managing administrative details and becoming a trusted advisor.
- Managing the operational planning and delivery of integrated activations across creative, digital, content, PR and hospitality workstreams to specific schedules using Right Formula’s project management tools.
- Creation and management of budgets for all global marketing activities for the client with internal and external reporting to ensure that we are working efficiently and profitably.
- Working with the wider account and agency team to proactively develop and pitch fresh and innovative ideas to the client.
- Collate information for monitoring and evaluation of the partnership to ensure we are continually learning and improving.
- Support the Account Director / Group Account Director by generating accurate reports and status notifications, including feedback and financial reporting.
- Supporting with management and coordination of the account team, ensuring that no piece of work is delivered below Right Formula’s high standards.
What we’re looking for
- Agency or Rights Holder experience within Motorsport is essential.
- Experience of partnership management with a strong focus on activation planning and integrated activation delivery.
- Prior experience managing day-to-day relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, agencies, rights holders and suppliers.
- Onsite logistical experience to deliver activations and hospitality programmes.
- Creative & passionate about sponsorship, brand experience and hospitality delivery.
- Proven track record of building and managing budgets, and project related reports for the client.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills with a proficiency for deck writing.
- Great project management and organizational skills and proactive at delivering projects to tight & challenging deadlines.
- A proactive thinker who can drive projects forward and identify growth opportunities.
- The willingness to note relevant trends, learn new skills and develop creative ideas.
- Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups.
