Right Education is working with a specialist provision in Spalding to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The setting provides a nurturing environment with small class sizes, allowing staff to build strong relationships with pupils and support them both academically and emotionally.
The Role:
- Support pupils with SEMH needs both in and out of the classroom
- Work closely with the class teacher to create a safe and engaging learning environment
- Help pupils develop confidence, resilience and positive learning behaviours
- Support individual learning plans and interventions
- Build positive relationships that encourage pupils to engage with education
- Contribute to a calm, supportive and structured environment
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within education, care or support settings
- Is patient, resilient and able to remain calm under pressure
- Can build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
