About the role
Right Education are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our network of supportive primary schools across Sheffield for September starts. We're working with a number of schools looking to secure reliable support staff ahead of the new academic year. Opportunities are available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with both long-term and ongoing placements available.
What you'll be doing
- Providing 1:1 and small group support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Assisting pupils with additional or special educational needs
- Supporting class routines, transitions and learning activities
- Helping teachers maintain an organised, positive classroom environment
- Encouraging pupil engagement and confidence in their learning
What we're looking for
- Experience in schools or transferable experience from youth work, care or coaching
- Reliability, patience and a nurturing attitude
- Ability to follow direction and use initiative
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to support across different school settings where needed
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
