How to prepare for a job interview at Right Education Ltd
✨Know Your SEN Stuff
Make sure you brush up on your knowledge of special educational needs (SEN). Familiarise yourself with different conditions like autism, ADHD, and SEMH. Being able to discuss these confidently will show that you're genuinely passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
✨Showcase Your Compassion
During the interview, share specific examples of how you've demonstrated patience and compassion in previous roles. Whether it’s a story from a school setting or another job, showing your ability to connect with children is key. Remember, they want to see your heart as much as your skills!
✨Prepare for Scenario Questions
Expect questions that ask how you would handle certain situations, like managing a child’s emotional outburst or providing support during a learning activity. Think through some scenarios beforehand and be ready to explain your thought process and actions clearly.
✨Ask Thoughtful Questions
At the end of the interview, don’t forget to ask questions! Inquire about the school's approach to SEN, how they support their staff, or what a typical day looks like. This shows your interest in the role and helps you gauge if it’s the right fit for you.
