Are you looking for the flexibility to teach on your own terms? You may be looking for a few days per week, something more longer term or just the ability to have more control over your schedule. Right Education can help!
After a successful start to the term finding our staff longer term placements, we are urgently in need of more practitioners of Early Years, Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 to join our supply teaching team!
We’re a local agency based right here in Yorkshire, working closely with primary schools across York and the surrounding villages. We take the time to understand what you want and only match you with schools that fit your skills, preferences and priorities. You may only be looking for work in EYFS, KS1, KS2 or a combination of two, or have specific year groups like Year 6 where you're most at home in a longer-term post. Whatever your preferences, we will not just sit and wait for opportunities to come along. We will actively go out and seek roles that you will love!
We’re not a big corporate agency or a call centre. We’re a small, responsive team who know the local schools and care about our educators. When you ask for KS1 work, you’ll get KS1 work. When you call, we answer. And when something isn’t quite right, we’ll be honest about it.
We are at the upper end of competitive in pay. You’ll be paid fairly, supported properly, and treated with genuine respect. You will be valued for the contribution you bring.
We’re looking for teachers who:
- Hold QTS or QTLS and have recent experience teaching in primary schools
- Can confidently deliver lessons and keep pupils engaged and on track
- Bring enthusiasm, adaptability and a real passion for making a difference
- Communicate well with staff and pupils, maintaining a calm and positive classroom
- Are professional, reliable, and proud to represent both yourself and Right Education
As a Supply Teacher with Right Education, you will:
- Work in a range of local primary schools that value and support their supply staff
- Choose the days, locations and roles that work for you
- Enjoy fair, transparent weekly pay with no hidden deductions
- Build strong relationships with local schools for consistent, rewarding work
Whether you’re an experienced teacher, newly qualified, returning to the classroom or just looking for more balance, we’d love to hear from you. At Right Education, supply work really does work for you.
