A primary school in York is looking for a PPA Teacher to join their team. This role offers part-time hours to begin with, though there is scope to increase to full time for the right person. If you have the ability to travel to other schools on a day to day basis, there will be work at multiple Primary schools that are within the same trust covering classes in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 according to your experience.
You will be covering primary year group classes across the school, providing high-quality PPA release while maintaining consistency and a calm, positive teaching style. The team is friendly, well-organised and keen to welcome someone who can slot in smoothly and support learning across a range of year groups.
Responsibilities and expectations as described by the school:- A confident teacher who can adapt to different classes and age groups
- Strong classroom management and clear, steady communication
- Someone reliable, organised, and able to build trust quickly with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
