We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver a complex cut‑and‑carve project in London. This role requires a professional with 6+ years’ cut‑and‑carve experience, proven success working for sub‑contractors, and a track record of delivering packages for Tier 1 contractors. Experience using ASTA is essential, and the day rate is £350–£450, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and identifying risks early with effective mitigation strategies.
- Temporary Works: Coordinate and oversee temporary works, ensuring compliance with safety standards and supervising implementation to maintain stability and programme flow.
- Demolition: Plan and manage demolition phases, prioritising safety, environmental considerations, and seamless transition into structural and rebuild stages.
- Structural Steel: Lead all structural steel activities, including design reviews, installation oversight, and quality assurance to meet project specifications.
- Drainage: Oversee drainage planning, installation, and compliance, ensuring systems are fully functional and aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Progress Monitoring: Track milestones, manage deliverables, and communicate progress clearly to stakeholders while adapting plans to overcome challenges.
Requirements
- Experience working for sub‑contractors and delivering packages for Tier 1 contractors.
- Proficiency with ASTA software - essential.
