Multi-Skilled Plumber / Mechanical Engineer Location: Hungerford, Berkshire Salary: £38,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience Hours: Monday-Friday, either 8:00am-4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break or 8:00am-5:00pm with a one-hour lunch break We are looking for an experienced and dependable Plumber / Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This is a varied role suited to a practical team player who is willing to support a broad range of plumbing and associated mechanical works. The position involves travelling to client sites across an area extending from London to Bristol, Nottingham to Southampton, as well as supporting customers locally throughout Wiltshire and Berkshire. Our office is based in Hungerford. The Role Your duties may include: General plumbing installation, maintenance and repair Mechanical works associated with plumbing systems Servicing, maintaining and repairing pumps and booster sets Fault finding and diagnosing system issues Planned and reactive maintenance Working independently and alongside colleagues Supporting other related works when required Completing work safely, professionally and to a high standardAbout You The successful candidate will ideally have: Relevant plumbing experience and qualifications Experience with pumps, booster sets or mechanical systems, although additional training may be provided Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities A flexible approach to different types of work Good communication and customer-service skills The ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team A full UK driving licence Willingness to travel throughout the company's service areaSalary and Benefits £38,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience Pension contributions calculated on all earnings, including overtime Fully expensed company vehicle following successful completion of the probationary period 25 days' annual holiday plus eight bank holidays Twice-yearly bonuses linked to agreed objectives Varied work across local and regional client sites Supportive, team-focused working environmentTo apply, please send your CV and a brief summary of your relevant plumbing and mechanical experience.
