The HGV Driving Trainer must be able to access two teaching sites to train and assess students for a rapidly expanding Driving Academy. The two locations are Watford and Leighton Buzzard, and the successful candidate will be required to travel between both yards. Therefore, the candidate's home location would need to be geographically suitable to allow regular access to both sites.

The company has been going from strength to strength and as a result are in need of experienced, committed, and reliable individuals to help train and teach drivers in preparation for them to obtain their own licences.

  • Class 1 Licence required, with good experience and knowledge of driving Class 1 Vehicles.
  • Must have held a HGV Licence for at least 5 years and have a full, and ideally, clean licence.

Standard working day consists of lessons in 4 hour blocks, typically consisting of 2 blocks with an optional additional block if desired and the workload requires it. Set working days are Monday - Friday, weekend work is also available if desired - shifts will be agreed upon interview talks. Working days will be based around the booking, typically between the hours of 7.30 - 19.30 as appropriate with requirements.

Pay is £20 per hour with potential for £25 per hour for additional lessons upsold by the Trainer. With a very strong team already in place, all working together, they are looking for like-minded individuals to join for a rewarding career. Previous training experience is extremely desirable.
