HGV Class 2 Drivers required for Waste Management Company based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire area. Due to a period of proposed expansion, my client is looking to add an experienced HGV Driver with experience in the Waste Management and Tankering industry to their existing team. Will be working for a division of a larger company that specialises in various aspects of the environmental sector. Duties to include, amongst other duties, the following: Tankering Cesspit emptying Safe removal of waste water Occasional Jetting The typical hours of work will run from 6am – 2pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime available at increased rates for any hours worked after the initial 8, Monday to Friday, plus an additional uplift for weekend work. The Job is a 3 month temp-to-perm position, with the company offering potential permanent employment for the right candidate based on their performance for the initial 12 weeks. Requirements – Full, clean UK driving licence Must have experience in a similar field/industry. Must be capable of working as part of a team, in addition to being able to work alone depending on the requirement of each individual project. EUSR Water Hygiene card desirable, but not essential as this can be obtained once the job has started.Great rates of pay and immediate start available for the right candidate. £18/hr on normal hours.
