The Role

You will support and care for adults in your local community to live independently in their own homes. Your day might include:

  • Companionship – enjoying a cup of tea and a meaningful chat.
  • A helping hand at home by assisting with light housekeeping to keep their environment tidy, safe, and comfortable.

Showcase Transferable Skills

Even if you don’t have direct experience in care, highlight skills from your previous roles in retail, hospitality, or other sectors. Emphasise your ability to communicate effectively, work as part of a team, and manage time efficiently. These are all valuable in a caring role!
