Role Overview
We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and committed Care Assistants to join our growing team in Southport. You’ll be supporting clients during morning or evening shifts, which will include working weekends and will involve providing personal care, companionship, medication assistance, and help with household tasks during your visits.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and companionship to clients in their own homes
- Assist with daily activities such as washing, dressing, medication, and meal preparation
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce isolation
- Accurately maintain care records and report concerns to the office team
- Travel between clients’ homes in your own vehicle
What We’re Looking For
- Female applicants only due to client preferences
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
- Ability to work weekends reliably
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential – full training provided
What We Offer
- Competitive pay – £12.25-£13.25 per hour
- 35p mileage allowance
- Zero-hours contract only - Contracted hours offered once probationary period completed
- Part-time and full-time hours available
- Flexible shift patterns: Mornings 7:00am till 2:00pm, Evenings 3:00pm till 11:00pm
- Permanent availabilities offered within a regular working area
- No travelling here, there and everywhere
- Comprehensive paid training, shadowing and ongoing support
