Join Right at Home Solent. Right at Home Solent is a CQC Outstanding-rated Home Care provider supporting older and vulnerable adults to live safely and independently in their own homes. We are looking for caring and reliable Health Care Assistants / Care Assistants (Carers) to join our friendly Southampton team. Whether you already have care experience or are looking to start a career in Home Care, we would love to hear from you. No experience is required - full paid training is provided.
What We Offer
- £14.80-£16.59 per hour weekdays (including holiday pay)
- £15.30-£17.15 per hour weekends (including holiday pay)
- 35p per mile mileage allowance
- Paid training before you start (£230 training bonus)

Your Role as a Care Assistant
As a Home Care Assistant / Carer, you will support clients with:
- Personal care
- Medication support
- Preparing meals and drinks
- Companionship and social support
- Light housekeeping and shopping
- Helping clients remain independent at home
- Keeping accurate care records
Flexible Working Hours
We offer flexible working patterns, including morning shifts. Typical shifts include:
- Morning shift: 7:00am - 1:00pm
- Split shifts: 9:30am - 1:00pm and 5:15pm - 10:00pm
You will start on a Flexible Hours Contract during your first 12 weeks while building your regular client schedule. There may be opportunities to move onto a Guaranteed Hours Contract for more consistent hours and earnings.
What You Will Need
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
- Right to work in the UK
- No visa sponsorship available
- Available for at least 20 hours per week
- Available to work at least 3 weekdays and every other weekend
