Right at Home Salisbury & Andover covers the following areas: Salisbury, Bishopdown, Alderbury, Bemerton, Netherhampton, Redlynch, The Winterbournes, Wilton, Stratford sub Castle, Farley, Gomeldon, Porton, Hurdcott & Ford and surrounding. You should be based close to or within these locations as travel within these areas is required.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Companionship: Building meaningful relationships, sharing conversations, listening to life stories and helping Clients stay socially connected and engaged.
- Personal Care: Providing sensitive and respectful support with washing, dressing and daily routines, always promoting dignity, independence and choice.
- Medication Support: Assisting with prescribed medication in a safe and responsible manner, helping Clients maintain their health and wellbeing.
- Home Support: Light housekeeping to keep the home clean, comfortable and safe so Clients can feel proud of their surroundings.
- Meal Preparation: Preparing nutritious meals that suit individual preferences, whether that is a home cooked favourite or something simple and quick.
- Morning and Evening Support: Helping Clients get ready for the day or settle comfortably at night, ensuring safety, reassurance and peace of mind.
Requirements:
- No experience needed
- Genuine passion for helping others and reliability
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Availability to work alternate weekends
- Legal right to work in the UK
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
