Right at Home Reigate & Crawley is looking for a Care Scheduler to plan reliable care schedules and help ensure our Clients receive consistent, high-quality support.
This is a busy and important role at the centre of our service.
You will match Care Givers with Clients, prepare schedules in advance and respond professionally when arrangements change.
You will work closely with the wider office team and communicate regularly with Care Givers and Clients.

- What you will be doing
- Prepare accurate care schedules in advance and share them with Care Givers and Clients on time.
- Match Care Givers to Clients carefully, taking account of care needs, skills, continuity, location and availability.
- Manage day-to-day schedule changes, including sickness, absence and changes in Client needs.
- Communicate changes quickly and clearly to everyone affected.
- Maintain accurate records of Care Giver availability, holidays, sickness and absence.
- Keep Client and Care Giver information up to date on the scheduling system.
- Answer telephone calls and queries promptly, calmly and professionally.
- Work closely with the recruitment team to identify current and future staffing needs.
- Record relevant feedback, concerns and complaints accurately and pass them to the appropriate manager.
- Take part in the out-of-hours on-call rota to support Care Givers working in the community.
- What we are looking for
- Excellent organisation, planning and prioritisation skills, with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to work at pace, manage several priorities and remain calm when plans change.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
- A positive, practical approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
- Experience using a scheduling, rostering, HR or care-recording system is desirable.
- Previous experience in homecare or another care setting is desirable. Experience in logistics, scheduling or coordination will also be considered.
- A full UK driving licence, access to a car and business-use insurance.
