We're currently recruiting for part-time Care Assistants working between 8 and 20 hours per week, depending on your availability.

What you'll be doing:

You'll help older and vulnerable adults remain independent, safe and comfortable in their own homes by providing:

  • Companionship and conversation
  • Personal care
  • Meal preparation
  • Medication support
  • Light household tasks

  • Support with daily routines
  • Encouraging independence and wellbeing

If you've worked in customer service, administration, retail, hospitality, education, childcare or another people-focused role, many of your existing skills will transfer perfectly into care.

Hours & Availability:

We're currently recruiting part-time Care Assistants for between 8 and 20 hours per week. Although we can offer flexibility around your hours, certain availability is essential for this role to ensure we can provide consistent care for our clients. You must be able to commit to:

  • At least 2 evening shifts per week, approximately 4:00pm–10:00pm
  • Alternate weekends – Saturday and/or Sunday
  • A minimum of 8 hours per week
  • Availability across a range of morning, afternoon and evening shifts where possible

Please note: The ability to work at least two evenings per week (4:00pm–10:00pm) and alternate weekends is an essential requirement for this role. Whether you're looking for 8, 12, 16 or 20 hours per week, we’ll work with you to find a pattern that suits your availability while ensuring we can provide reliable care to our clients.

Where you'll work:

Portsmouth, Cosham, Portchester, Southsea, Denmead and surrounding areas. You’ll travel between clients' homes, so a full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is required for this role.
