Right at Home Hemel Hempstead is an award-winning homecare provider, and we are looking for a compassionate and reliable Care Assistant to support our clients in their own homes. This role attracts an hourly rate from £14.25 per hour. This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference by helping people live safely, happily, and independently at home, while promoting dignity, respect, and emotional well-being. Full training and ongoing support are provided, and previous care experience is not required. Right at Home Hemel Hempstead covers the following areas: Hemel Hempstead, Bovingdon, Kings Langley, Chesham, Berkhamsted, Tring, Markyate & Harpenden.
Duties will include:
- Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
- Personal care
- Administering medication
- Assisting Clients with washing and dressing
- Shopping
- Housekeeping
- Meal preparation
- Taking Clients for appointments or outings
Requirements of a Care Assistant:
- Be available for early mornings/evenings/alternate weekends.
- Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
- Have a genuine passion to want to help others.
- Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude.
- Living within approximately 10 miles of Hemel Hempstead.
