We are Right at Home Medway, a homecare company based in the heart of the Medway Towns. Due to client preference, we are seeking a female live-in care assistant.

Before you apply you must already have:

  • Previous care experience is essential (to avoid disappointment, only apply if you have any form of care experience)
  • Ideally live in the Medway Towns or surrounding areas and able to attend our office for interview and our 3 day Induction Training
  • Full legal right to work in the UK - we do not have licence to issue CoS
  • A mature character able to live with your clients for a period of time
  • Culinary skills (as you will be expected to cook a variety of meals)
  • Driver's Licence preferred (but not essential)
  • Updated DBS

The role (typical daily tasks):

  • Assist our Clients with their wake up and bed time routines
  • Meal preparation
  • Companionship (hobbies, trips out, shopping etc)
  • Medication administration/assistance
  • Assisting clients living with Dementia
  • Personal care (minimal assistance is all that is sometimes required)
  • Basic housekeeping
  • And much more

Hours of availability: each of your placements will be dependent on your Client's needs. For example, some of our Live-in CareGivers choose to work one week on and one week off, others work two or three weeks on, then take a week off.

Location: Medway Towns and surrounding areas (however, if your placement with us comes to an end, we can redeploy you to another Right at Home office outside of the Medway Towns. We aim to keep you working as many hours as you choose. Those with previous care experience are welcome to apply. Due to the nature of this role, it is unsuitable for those without any previous care experience. You will be required to attend our office in Gillingham for interview and our 3 day Induction Training.
