Part time carer - Evenings and Weekends in Ditchling

We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to join our team in Mid Sussex, supporting clients in Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and surrounding villages. In this role, you will make a positive difference in the lives of our clients by providing essential support and companionship in their own homes. Your contributions will be vital to ensuring that our clients live safely and happily, reflecting our commitment to quality care.

Responsibilities

• 1) Provide compassionate personal care, companionship and support to clients in their homes.
• 2) Assist with normal living activities, including meal preparation, medication administration, accompanying to appointments, shopping etc.
• 3) Light housework to ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
• 4) Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.
• 5) Record client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour.
• 6) Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.

Qualifications required

• Availability to work some evenings and weekends
• No previous experience is necessary as full training will be given
• Strong interpersonal skills and a caring and compassionate nature.
• Full driving licence and use of a car for work is essential
